Marlene has been involved in the Aquatic Industry since 1985 with the majority of this time spent throughout the Midwest, Gascoyne and Pilbra regions working as in Instructor, Centre Supervisor and Regional Advisor. She has been an AUSTSWIM presenter for the last 14 years.  She has been a Teacher of Access & Inclusion including the Disability sector since 2013 and has been an AUSTSWIM Access & Inclusion Presenter since March 2018.  Marlene has also worked for Australian Federal Police as an Officer, Trainer and Officer in Charge for 25 years. She has worked for Geraldton Aquatic Centre setting up the Infant Aquatic programs and more recently assisting with the Infant programs implementation and standardisation. Marlene has also conducted aquatic education to remote localities in conjunction with the Aboriginal unit of Department of Sport of Recreation.
